His father was killed when he was very young because he had the ability to control Fire...those same humans came after Aid and Ashen years later after Ashen provoked Aid into blowing up an entire forest. After joining the Hyperforce, Aid quickly proved to have an ill-temper with the beings he was supposed to save...he didn't like humans, and this led to him allowing a man to choke on Formless ooze and die. He left the Hyperforce to practice medicine on his own after that. However, after that incident, Aid has never allowed another creature to die in his care. He is completely dedicated to what he does, and would willingly die for anyone...

Willie generally prefers to keep his pleasant history a secret, not allowing yours truly to write about it. He's an off-and-on character who pops in only when it is convenient for him...but he claims to have lineage linked way back in the prime age of pirates. (His ancestors, he proudly proclaims, were a monkey infestation on a nortorous pirate ship of the age, though he won't specify which ship.

Morally correct, polite, selfless, brave. A gentlemonkey when around ladies...in deep contrast of his uncle Darkblood Willie.

Charlie is the nephew of Darkblood Willie (seen above) and the son of Blackheart Billy (Willie's twin). His father's pirate name for him is Duffle the Good Heart, referring to a pirate's belongings carried in a duffel bag (known as "duffle") and Charlie's extreme disenchantment with his lineage. Charlie was growing up to be a right-good pirate...until his father was killed in a raid. After that, Charlie swore he would never become a pirate. He may bear the pirate skull that is a symbol of monkey piracy, but he refuses to give in to his natural dark instincts. He doesn't see eye-to-eye with his uncle, who is extremely proud of their pirate heritage. Darkblood Willie keeps trying to convert his nephew to piracy (mainly because he wants him to join his crew, the Red Peal).

A wiser, tree-hugger version of Aid

Ashen is Aid's older sister. He doesn't remember her because his memory was wiped by the Alchemist, and his sister was killed shortly after leaving the Hyperforce. She was meant to be a shaman on the team, but she didn't want her memory to be wipe so she escaped and practiced shamanism on her own...until Skeleton King came back and killed her. Her ability to go between worlds was so skilled that--like Antauri--she managed to lock onto Aid's soul and follow him around until the opportune moment when she could escape the spirit world. That moment came when I (Shadow), Snowfire, and Antauri resurrected Snowfire's son Nightclaw; while the portal between worlds was opened, Ashen's soul got free and she managed to resurrect herself. She is now trying to pick up where she left off before dying.

Ivy's story is a sad and rather strange one... The union that created Ivy wasn't necessarily a righteous one, for Darkblood Willie and Poison were not (and remain to not be) married. Poison conceived a child, but the poison content in her blood was too much for the baby to handle...or so they thought. When Poison went into early labor with Ivy, Aid and Inayasha's son Xavior (still young himself) thought the child was dead. So the moment Ivy was born, Poison buried her, for there was no pulse...or so she thought. In fact, Ivy's pulse was SO weak, not even a doctor in training could detect it...so Ivy was buried alive. Braeden sensed that Ivy was still alive, and while still suffering in the demonic state dug Ivy up and injected her with his angelic soul...saving her life and making himself completely demonic and soulless. Buddy later saved Braeden by giving him part of his soul, but now Ivy feels she owes Braeden something. Their bond is indeed an odd one...not really friends, but more like two souls drawn together by their own pain...

She loves her BF Jay, and she's had a habit of getting me out of depression. Trust me, if you've got a problem, she'll let you know about it; she's very open and honest, trustworthy and cool. ^-^

Named after her father's dead twin brother Billie. She was born--unlike her sister--after her parents had been married. During birth, Poison was called to assist in drawing dragon poison out of Antauri...not a pleasant experience by any means. Because of this, Billie is immuned to dragon poison (not that it matters, considering she is not a dragon nor of dragon descent). Upon the birth of her little sister, Ivy found the mantle of responsibility thrust upon her shoulders, and thus limited her rum-drinking habit to a minimum so as to keep after Billie.

Ackerman, Cromwell, and Walter were colleagues with one other scientist known as Hurst at the Alieniana Laboratory of Science and Medicine. Alieniana Lab was widely known for its use of lab animals...most notably, monkeys. One of these monkeys that the scientists especially liked to experiment on was one I think we all know the name of: Gibson. Mind you, this happened many MANY years ago when Gibson was still very very young before the Alchemist got him, but the chemical experiments that he endured stuck with him for the rest of his life. This, in fact, led to Gibson's final revenge on the doctors: the death of Hurst, and the turning of Ackerman, Cromwell, and Walter into cybernetic monkeys. Though it has taken them a while to get used to it, the scientist monkeys are coming around to their fate and quietly dealing with what they deserved.
